I thought this looked promising since it was longer than some of the other short travel guides in Kindle books covering Barcelona. But, like many of the self published "books" in the Kindle Store, there has been little to no editing. There are many grammar and spelling errors. It seems like the writer was not in full command of English. The topics were inconsistent in how much information was provided. Some had full details and prices, hours, and pictures. The book was a fun read. It had a lot of tips I hadn't thought of and used a lot of the ideas to save some money for my trip to Barcelona. It was short and to the point and I liked the style of writing. Good book!
I got several books in preparation for my trip to Barcelona. This one is definitely my favorite. It combines history and details of the city as well as facts and pictures about all the major attractions, and some lesser known ones as well. Since there is so much to see and this great guide helped us plan our day. This is a Top 10 Barcelona City tour kindle book.
Very helpful book. I was in Barcelona for 8 days at the end of Jun 2011 and because of this book I save some money for few tours by taking selftours and using the advices and the step by step pictures that in the book. Plus you can better plan your vacation following the advices, learning tips for using different type of transportation in Barcelona, etc.
I was totally satisfied with the quality of the book and the way it is organized.
This book was thrown together quickly... poorly written... needs editing. I'm sorry I wasted my money on it. Spend more and get a good guide book
Very very poor English. Many listings for shopping malls and many wonderful sights not mentioned.
Doesn't read the books they have available for ? Total waste of money. Don't write in English if you're not fluent!
